Jackson meets Islay!

Jackson came to meet Islay Friday (the birth day) after a full day at school. His Ooma picked him up and brought him to the hospital. Jackie has been very sweet and gentle with his baby sister. He seems as fascinated with her as we are! He's gonna be an awesome big brother.

Awesome Kaiser Nurse

This is Lisa, one of the many wonderful nurses at Oakland Kaiser Hospital. Lisa took us from the triage area (where we stayed barely 20 minutes; Tara was already 7cm) and was with us throughout the entire process. Along with the resident, who also checked in early but popped in and out, Lisa helped deliver Islay. She comforted Tara, monitored the progress, and directed the action. My respect for nurses is immense.
